When you get your first job
You wonder, so this is what I was studying for all these years
Maybe I have arrived in life, it is a set of realisations creeping into the corners of my mind
But soon you realise that life is an accumulation of "mere incidents"
Okay, I am just working for the sake of working
But here are people who don't like it at all,
They are here to support their families.
Some are even here because their life led them here
And now it's a comfort and stability that they are too afraid to leave!
Yesterday, I read that as a young adult, I want to ask old people
"How do you cope with a constant sense of moving and loss?".
We are constantly on the move, it starts with changing schools, then colleges, after that jobs, and at some point even homes.
